Escape to the beautiful island of Sicily, where Mediterranean sunshine, coastal bounty, and generations of family traditions have created one of Italy's most distinctive cuisines. In this hands-on class, you'll explore the bold flavors and fresh ingredients that make Sicilian cooking so unforgettable. Together, we'll learn to create two of Sicily's most beloved culinary treasure - crispy, golden arancini and authentic cannoli - while discovering the techniques that have been passed down through generations. Along the way, you'll learn how Greek, Arab, Norman, and Spanish influences have shaped Sicily's rich culinary heritage, creating a unique blend of flavors found nowhere else in Italy. You'll leave with authentic recipes, practical cooking techniques, and a deeper appreciation for Sicily's vibrant culture and its enduring love of food, family, and hospitality.
