Students will gain confidence and express themselves through the creation of an alter ego utilizing the trans-formative power of make-up and costumes. Students will explore make-up techniques specific to the characters and emotions they want to express and construct costumes using unconventional materials to emphasize that anything can become a work of wearable art! The class will culminate in an interactive runway showcasing each student’s look and walk.

Alter ego invites students who are interested in theater, art, and fashion to explore the excitement of learning about yourself by becoming someone else!
