Come celebrate the joys of Thanksgiving--Plant Based Style! Join Dr. Tionna Jenkins in the kitchen and learn how to make a sumptuous and festive meal. Diners of all kind will enjoy the medley of colors, range of flavors, and the heartiness of a holiday meal that will leave everyone feeling nourished and alive! Dr. Jenkins is a public health policy practitioner and wellness expert. She is creator of the health and wellness site, www.plateithealthy.com. The menu was inspired by her cookbook, Cooking in Color: Simple Plant-Based Recipes. Participants will leave class with leftovers, recipes, and the confidence to keep creating healthy and delicious food.

  • TRANSFER AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • A full refund will be issued if the cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to the class date. If cancellations are made less than 7 days from the class date, a refund will only be issued if the class spot can be sold.
  • In the chance that UA-PTC must cancel a class, registrants will have the choice of receiving a full class refund or transferring to another Community Education class.

Dr. Jenkins, is a public health policy practitioner, where she works on many public health issues. She is also a mother, a wife, a lover of all things family focused and positive, a food enthusiast, chef and woman on a mission to reach complete health and wellness. She has a passion to share with the world that living a whole food plant-based lifestyle is not boring, but realistic and the food is actually delicious! Food is our medicine, so when we prepare, purchase or consume anything, we should be introducing our bodies to whole, healthy, nutritious food.
