So you want to be a ghost hunter? Or are you just curious about the world of paranormal? This course will introduce you to the world of paranormal and show you how this subject has intrigued mankind for centuries. Learn about equipment, proper technique and methods used during an investigation. You will also hear and see the evidence of spirits and how they try to communicate with us every day. You will then put your skills to work while participating in an investigation at MacArthur Museum, one of the most HAUNTED buildings in Arkansas!

The class and investigation is led by Rhonda Burton, Co-Founder of Arkansas Ghost Catchers. The class will begin with a lecture and then you'll move on to the investigation. During class, you will learn about the different aspects of ghost hunting, equipment, techniques and how to review your evidence. An EVP (electronic voice phenomena) session will be part of the class. This will show you how to try and communicate with spirits using digital voice recorders and laptops.

Must be 18 years or older to register. If a participant is between the ages of 12 - 17, they must be accompanied by an adult that is also registered for the class.

  • TRANSFER AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • A full refund will be issued if the cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to the class date. If cancellations are made less than 7 days from the class date, a refund will only be issued if the class spot can be sold.
  • In the chance that UA-PTC must cancel a class do to low registration or unforeseen circumstances, registrants will have the choice of receiving a full class refund or transferring to another Community Education class.
  • Items needed: Flashlight, camera, digital voice recorder and any ghost hunting equipment. You can also use your cell phone, but it does limit the quality of your evidence. Please wear comfortable shoes.
