Asian Fusion Series
In this 4-part series, Chef Immy Lum will focus on teaching students how to work with traditional Asian-style ingredients, creating dishes that are innovative and flavorful. This series will meet four times and will focus on Gyoza Dumplings, Steam Bao (Buns), Pancit Bihon Noodles, and Filipino Spring Rolls.
Class 3: Pancit Bihon Noodles
Coming from the Hokkien phrase “pian i sit” meaning something convenient or cooked fast, this traditional dish is a signature Filipino staple with Chinese origins. Students will work with fresh ingredients to create Pancit Bihon Noodles and take home all food and recipes.
