Family Studio: Creative Costumes: Crowns + Shields

Come make art side-by-side as a family, exploring a new medium each week to create a beautiful project together. We will activate our imaginations to create our own crowns and shields, every piece unique and drawing inspiration from upcycled materials we have available. Post-workshop play is highly encouraged!
- Each person must individually register. Registered children must be accompanied by a registered adult. This program is best suited for families with children aged 3 to 8, however, all family members are welcome. All materials and equipment are provided. Artmaking activities will involve some messiness; please wear appropriate clothing.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
Stephanie Morse
Stephanie graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology for Fine Arts and Art History and Italian. She was introduced to teaching in 2015 fell in love with it. Her classes span from drawing basics to bookbinding. An artist in her own right, her work has been selected and featured in juried art shows across the country with the latest one in DC. Stephanie is also actively involved in the local arts community by freelancing and advocating for accessible art opportunities. If she's not in a classroom you can probably find her dreaming of, talking about, or actively eating good food!
