Silver Metal Clay Jewelry
Adult Multi-Week | FULL
Learn to work with metal clay, a malleable, metal-bearing material that is perfectly suited for creating jewelry. Use your hands to shape it and a variety of tools to add detail and texture. You’ll fire the metal clay to transform it into a silver object. Add a new skill to your repertoire each week and combine them to complete at least two projects by the end of the class. You can repeat this class up to 4 times and learn something new each semester: creating dimension, custom texture, setting stones, hollow forms, and more.
- This course welcomes repeat students. One package of metal clay is included with the materials fee, extra metal clay will be available for purchase in class at an additional cost.
This class does not meet on 1/20 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
