WTF (Woman, Trans, Femme) Woodworking: Bandsaw Boxes

Adult Intensive | Available

This class is a safe space for women, trans, and femme folks to learn introductory woodworking techniques. You'll learn how to make a small keepsake box in all different shapes and sizes, gaining experience using the band saw, electric sanders, hand tools and drill press. We will respect marginalized identities, be patient with one another, use accessible language, and we won't leave anyone behind.

  • This class is designed for Women, Trans and Femme identifying people. Please choose another class if you do not self-identify with one of these groups.

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
