Participants: up to 11 adults
Time: 5-9pm
Location: Printmaking Studio + Dominion Room
Schedule:5 - ~7:30pm - Block Printed Totes workshop in the Printmaking Studio
~7:30 - 9pm - Dominion Room available for independent group use if desired (meeting, dinner/snacks, etc...)
Block Printed TotesCreate your own custom-designed blocks for printing using linoleum and carving tools. Ink and print your design to create a unique tote bag!
Meeting Space
Once the workshop is complete, the Dominion room is available for your group to use as needed. VisArts is not responsible for providing food/beverage or paper products. Please clean up everything at the end of your event.

- VisArts will provide totes for printing on. Participants are welcome to bring additional items to print on (ie: notecards, posters, t-shirts, tea towels, etc...), if time allows.
Creativity at Work events are subject to VisArts registration policies, should you need to cancel or reschedule. In this case, the drop/transfer fee is calculated per number of participants. Creativity at Work events are priced according to the maximum possible number of participants. Once the class is confirmed, the total class cost cannot be reduced if less than the maximum number of participants attend. For more information, visit visarts.org.
Sophie Sallade
Sophie Sallade is passionate about relief printmaking! She was raised in Richmond, Virginia and attended VCU Arts with a BFA focused in Painting + Printmaking and a minor of Craft & Material Studies. Post graduation, Sophie has been busy running her company, Sophie Printmaking. She carves linocut blocks of her hometown and beyond, and has a collection of prints she sells at farmers markets, shops, events all around town.
