Explore the basics of GIF animation! Students will start by creating a simple bouncing ball animation on a sticky note pad to learn the basics of motion. Next, students will move to iPads and use Procreate’s Animation Assist tool, where they’ll learn about onion skinning, frames per second, and how GIF animations work. We’ll complete 1 – 2 short exercises to practice these skills, keeping the tasks simple. For the final project, students will create their own animation, applying what they’ve learned in a fun and manageable way.
