Please let us know in advance if you would like any folding tables/chairs set up in the Commons for your group. VisArts is not responsible for providing food/beverage or paper products. Please clean up everything at the end of your event. We try to limit food/beverage in our studios to help keep them clean - please wipe down surfaces and discard any food/beverage trash in the kitchen garbage can or the dumpster outside VisArts' Courtyard.
Have fun!
- VisArts will provide totes/paper/t-shirts for printing on (item TBD). Participants are welcome to bring additional items to print on (ie: notecards, posters, t-shirts, tea towels, etc...), if time allows.
Creativity at Work events are subject to VisArts registration policies, should you need to cancel or reschedule. In this case, the drop/transfer fee is calculated per number of participants. Creativity at Work events are priced according to the maximum possible number of participants. Once the class is confirmed, the total class cost cannot be reduced if less than the maximum number of participants attend. For more information, visit visarts.org.
Alex Neckopulos
An RVA transplant from the Midwest, Alex Neckopulos received a BFA in Economics and Studio Art from Grinnell college. After finishing school, she lived out of a backpack for two years, worked in several different countries, and drew all the places she went. Seeking to add color and complexity to her black ink drawings when she returned to the States, Alex took to screen printing. She continues experimenting with the medium and focuses on creating hand drawn designs inspired by detail found in nature. As a teacher and an artist, Alex believes art is one of the best tools for learning. She is excited by every opportunity to bring this enthusiasm to the studio.
