Polymer Clay Jewelry

Adult Multi-Week | Available

Learn how to mix, sculpt, and cure polymer clay into one-of-a-kind jewelry. We’ll learn to use oven bake clay with cookie cutters, in pasta rollers, mixed with acrylic paint and gold leaf and more to create beautiful effects and textures. In addition to using polymer clay, students will learn the basics of jewelry making to make earrings, necklaces, or bracelets with their creations.

  • The polymer clay classes will be "take and bake" classes, meaning students will be encouraged to cure their pieces in a home oven or craft convection oven. If the student does not have access to these tools or wishes not to cure their pieces themselves, I will cure them in my studio and return them.
Accessibility notes: Many artmaking processes require the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, fine motor skills/finger dexterity, repetitive motions, vision, and some amount of physical strength. VisArts values making classes accessible to everyone, and is always happy to work with students to make accommodations when possible. Please reach out to info@visarts.org with specific questions related to accessibility or accommodations.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

This studio is not wheel chair accessible from the interior due to two steps, but is accessible through an exterior door.
