Zero Draft: 10 Steps to Finishing Your Novel – New!

Adult Multi-Week | Available

The “Zero Draft” is you, the writer, telling yourself the story —a rough, fearless first version where you discover your characters, shape your plot, and uncover what your story really wants to be. In this 10-step class, you'll break the writing process into clear, achievable milestones. You’ll learn how to build strong story structure, craft vivid characters, create meaningful conflict, and—most importantly—build the bones of a Zero Draft and gain the tools to finish it. Writing a novel is hard. It’s supposed to be. But with the right tools, the right plan, and the right mindset, it’s also completely possible. By the end of this class, you will have a full story blueprint you believe in; characters who breathe, break, and fight for something real; conflict that drives your plot forward; and the bones of your Zero Draft and the tools to finish it. You don’t need to have it all figured out—you just need to begin!
