Wheel ThrowingGet your hands on the wheel, and learn how to throw pots! Wheel throwing is fun and exciting to learn, but challenging to master. Expect to have a blast, and come away with a small, wonky bowl or cylinder - perfect for using as a catchall, utensil holder, or tea light votive.
Meeting Space
For the duration of your event, the Dominion Energy Community Room is available for your group to use as needed. VisArts is not responsible for providing food/beverage or paper products. Please clean up everything at the end of your event.

- For wheel throwing workshops, participants will have a choice between 2 glaze colors for finishing their work. Pieces will be left behind at VisArts to be fired, glazed, and fired again to finish. Your event organizer will receive an email when artwork is ready for pickup! This can take ~2 months.
Creativity at Work events are subject to VisArts registration policies, should you need to cancel or reschedule. In this case, the drop/transfer fee is calculated per number of participants. Creativity at Work events are priced according to the maximum possible number of participants. Once the class is confirmed, the total class cost cannot be reduced if less than the maximum number of participants attend. For more information, visit visarts.org.
