Winter Landscapes in Gouache – New! Adults (18+)

Learn how to best use gouache, an opaque watercolor paint, to portray winter landscapes. Using photo reference, you will learn about composing, sketching, and the particular challenges that come from portraying winter weather. You will leave class with a finished gouache painting on paper that you can display or gift to a loved one.
- Students may bring their own reference to paint from or use images provided. Any image must be one the student owns the rights to use and must not be AI generated. Painting experience helpful, but not necessary.
Accessibility notes: Many artmaking processes require the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, fine motor skills/finger dexterity, repetitive motions, vision, and some amount of physical strength. If under 18, student must be accompanied by a registered adult. Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
