3D Cardboard Maker Studio (Ages 6-8)

In this studio class, we will focus on the experience of building with cardboard. We'll imagine, design, and create a variety of things like buildings, vehicles, and more. We will also work together to build one incredible collaborative structure as we expand our skills and explore many creative uses for cardboard.
Due to a set of stairs, this classroom is not wheelchair accessible.
Accessibility notes: In youth art classes, many artmaking processes involve (age-appropriate) fine motor skills, physical strength, vision, and ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Kerry Mills
Kerry Mills is an art historian who has brought her life long love of art, material exploration, and making to children for the past 25 years. Kerry has taught at VisArt, VMFA and Sabot at Stony Point. Kerry supports young artists as they learn about materials, explore media, and tap into their creativity - allowing them to realize their own vision in the studio space while supporting their process.
