Digital Illustration For Beginners (Limited Offering) – New!
Adult Multi-Week | Registration opens 11/5/2025 9:00 AM EST
Learn how to take an idea from conception to finished illustration! Beginning with a general prompt, you will brainstorm image ideas using various exercises and learn how to best realize those ideas through digital painting. This class will use Procreate, an affordable drawing and painting software made for the iPad. Leaving class, you will have a .psd file with your finished
illustration that you can continue work on or export to other platforms. You will also have a firm grasp on more conceptual ideas like composition, design, and visual storytelling.
- Some drawing experience is helpful. Feel free to bring your own iPad with procreate, and an apple pencil. Visarts has ipads to borrow during class time as well.
