Still Life: Procreate + Screenprinting (Limited Offering) – New!

Turn your favorite objects into original art while learning new digital and analog skills. In this class, we'll use Procreate to transform personal collections into a multi-layer illustrations. Next, we'll walk through the basics of screen printing from mixing colors to registering layers. Students will leave with new skills and a series of prints to keep, gift, and trade with classmates.
- This class is open to all skill levels—beginners to Procreate or screenprinting are welcome! VisArts has iPads you can borrow or bring your own.

Screen printing is a physical medium that involves applying pressure to a screen to transfer ink in a pulling or pushing motion. A certain level of dexterity and strength is required, and students will be on their feet for much of the class. As a neurodivergent person with mobility limitations, Katie is devoted to adapting classes based on individuals' mental and physical needs. All students are welcome to voice what works best for them and accommodations can be made, whether its writing down verbal instructions or assisting with the printing process.
