Create monotypes using waterbased paints (except acrylics) and inks with the added option of adding collage materials (chine colle) to the finished prints. Participants will create images on plexiglass plates that will be printed on dampened paper on a press. Prints are then dried leaving the artist with a beautiful singular image. Eight weeks.

  • Heavy weight printmaking paper

  • (Reference images if desired)

Melissa Meredith is a professional printmaker/painter with a studio at the Farmington Valley Art Center in Avon, CT. She is represented in both private and corporate collections and has exhibited extensively throughout the U.S. She has a MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and lives in Bloomfield, CT.
