Often times, photo references can stop us from creating a more interesting narrative. In this one day workshop, (working from our own photo references) we will explore ways to go beyond the literal in photo references. Karen will give a short demo and discussion on this topic and as well discuss pastel application and techniques and composition /design.

Karen will work with each student on an individual basis and help each student with their project for the day.
