Figure in the landscape

Class | This program is completed

In this course, we will explore the landscape through its many seasons and working from photographic references, where possible, we will incorporate the figure in a setting. There will be much discussion on interpreting the pitfalls and benefits of photography and discussion of proportion and perspective when it comes to placing a reasonable figure in the landscape and pastel tips and techniques. Most every week, Karen will demonstrate a landscape, sometimes with a figure. Students will work from their own references.
