Students will learn to design, carve, and print relief blocks (linoleum or wood) on fabric. The instructor will go over different uses of printing on fabric. Relief printing on fabric can be used for putting designs on clothes, making patches, creating simple stuffed figures or ornaments, or making garlands, among other more experimental uses. The instructor will bring muslin fabric and all other materials required for class, and ask that you pay a material fee the day of the workshop. A great workshop to learn relief printmaking techniques.
