In this workshop students will learn the basics of designing, carving, and printing wooden relief blocks, including going over the difference of using wood vs. linoleum in relief printing. Wood is a more difficult material to carve, so this class is recommended for people with some previous experience carving, but beginners are welcome as well! For those who are more experienced there will be the option of experimenting with different mediums for printing. The instructor will provide the materials, and asks that you pay a material fee the day of the workshop.
