EXPLORE the possibilities of working in clay Handbuilding &/or throwing on the potter’s wheel.
EXPERIMENT with Handbuilding techniques of pinch, coil & slab as you use your imagination to create original pieces.
EXPERIENCE a variety of throwing fundamentals as you create functional & decorative pieces.
LEARN techniques of surface decoration such as scraffito, wax resist, stamping & carving.
Finish your work with a variety of glazes & paints.

- Class price includes a 25 lb. bag of clay.
Students WILL need to purchase a basic 8 piece pottery tool kit for the class. Kits can be found at local art supply stores (Jerry's Artarama, Dick Blick, Michaels) and cost approximately $12.
