Program Description

Explore the versatility of clay as you experiment using hand building techniques of pinch, coil and slab. Each week, individual creativity is encouraged, as students bring their own ideas to life.

Required Supplies

Please wear old clothes (sport pants wash well!) and/or bring an old T-shirt as a cover up or a smock. Highly recommended.
A $20 fee for 25 lbs of clay is included in the price of the class. Glaze and firing are also included in the class fee. Additional clay may be purchased at the same fee if needed during the session.

Beth Reynolds

Wheaton College, MA in Art History and Studio Art. Studied painting and ceramics at workshops and colleges in the United States and England. Previously taught at:Renbrook, TASIS in England, Groton, and Norfeldt School in West Hartford. Work exhibited in galleries in CT, MA, and England.
