Students will learn the classical drawing process using fundamentals such as perspective, proportion, how to organize space on paper, as well as the philosophy of what drawing is. Students will build a strong foundation of skills, beginning with the very basics: drawing a straight line and developing manual abilities using a pencil. The class builds from there, with students drawing curved lines, cubes, and moving on to still life drawings. The instructor demonstrates each step and by the end of the session students will have completed drawings using the techniques learned throughout the session. Class is limited to 10 students so that each student will receive individual attention.
