Come and get inspired! This class will focus on learning a variety of different techniques to create two dimensional paintings, drawings, and mixed media works of art. Learn how to create depth with perspective, color and composition. Light, value and shading will also be explored using a fun mix of famous artists as our inspiration throughout the session.

Lindaluz Carrillo is a first-generation Peruvian who was born in New York and raised in the South End of Hartford. She is a Urban Pop Artist and Graphic Designer. Carrillo received her BFA in Visual Communication Design through the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford, 2016. Her work is influenced by Peruvian textile patterns, graffiti elements, and urban cultures. Carrillo's work tells a story about her customs, traditions and values that form conversations about our world today.
