This is a fun afternoon class where kids can spend an hour and fifteen minutes drawing cartoons. Students have available to them a small library of how-to-draw books featuring popular characters such as Angry Birds, Pokemon, and of course, superheroes of various types. Special paper for making comic books or trading cards is supplied in addition to regular drawing paper. Every class begins with a warm up exercise so children can practice some basic art concept. This includes
learning to use pencils and inks as all professional cartoonists do. All drawing tools will be provided. The real goal of this class is to make the children enthusiastic drawers so they go home and keep practicing their drawing, the only real way to become a better artist!
