STUDENTS MUST BE 7 YEARS OR OLD, BE ABLE TO READ, USE A MOUSE AND COMPUTER TO REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS.

THIS CLASS REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 5 STUDENTS TO BE HELD.

Program Overview: Our Beginners Coding Class uses "Scratch" which is a graphic programming language developed at MIT. This class provides a powerful learning tool for beginner programmers. Young students will learn fundamental programming concepts by creating animations and computer games with interacting characters.

This class creates a beginner foundation in programming which can be used in other advanced languages.

Connectech has created its own curriculum to teach the students the fundamentals of coding. Students are tested during the class to ensure they grasped the concepts and if they are able to move on to the next level of coding.

Our Beginners Coding Classes introduce kids to in-depth programming concepts. In these classes, young students will use coding building blocks to build different adventures using animations and storytelling and games.

Afterschool Beginners Class starting Monday January 15th. We will not be holding after school classes during school breaks or public holidays.

Classes start at 4:30pm until 6:00pm. Children may arrive at 4:00pm but no earlier. All children must be collected by 6:00pm or a $10 fee will be applied.
