THIS IS AN ADVANCED LEVEL CLASS. NOT FOR BEGINNERS. STUDENTS MUST HAVE TAKEN PYTHON PREVIOUSLY.

The Tuesday Gaming Class is a COMBO Class with kids learning to build their own games in Roblox for the first have of the semester and Minecraft Mods for the second half of the semester.

This exciting class teaches students how to create a variety of MINECRAFT mods. Students code in JAVA and learn important coding concepts such as conditionals, loops, inheritance, methods, arrays, and more whilst having fun with MINECRAFT. Roblox is a fun educational gaming program. Kids use Lua Code to create their own games and projects in Roblox. Switching at any time between drag-and-drop blocks and text code (like the pros!).

Students get to play the games they have built. Roblox - starts with simple beginner-friendly drag-and-drop editor, then progress to text code. Student will code and create games for Roblox then be able to play them.

Afterschool Class start the week of January 15th.

    Your child is required to bring a set of headphones. Please label any items with your child’s name. Should your child wish to bring his/her own laptop or other device please note that Connectech Coding is not responsible for lost/broken items.
