PREREQUISTE:

Students must have completed python coding to be eligible for our gaming advanced level classes. Through our evaluations we will determine when the child is ready to move on to our advanced level coding. Students work at their own pace as they advanced through the coding levels. If you are unsure if your child is ready for advanced classes please contact us via email and we will advise. If you register for an advanced level class and your child is not ready we will transfer them to the appropriate level class and send you an email notification of the change.

OVERVIEW FOR CODING CAMP:

Our advanced level GAMING Coding Camp has students working on building their own Roblox and Minecraft based games using JAVA  programming language.

In these classes, students use block based JAVA code to build and create their games.

Students are tested at the beginning of each week to ensure they are at the correct level (beginners, intermediate or advanced) and at the end of each week to ensure they grasped the concepts and if they are able to move on to the next level of coding.

During the week they students will also work with mini computers (microbits) to make games, animations and even creating music using python  programming. There are an array of other mini tech gadgets and concepts they get to work with, learn and solve problems through innovative ways.

Classes start at 9:00am and children may arrive at 8:30am but no earlier. All children must be collected by 5:30pm no later. Child each lunch at Connectech.
