Alcohol Ink Florals
Workshops | This program is completed
Explore the incredible beauty of alcohol inks, an intensely vivid and fluid medium that practically paints itself! Participants paint a delicate watery group of flowers, a large bursting bloom, and a field of daisies. Learn about the different tools you can use, masking fluid, and how to control and add detail when you wish. No previous experience required, and there will be plenty of demonstrations, work time, and coaching.
- $10 fee due to instructor for all supplies

Julie has an insatiable curiosity that leads her to explore emerging mediums with a desire to discover new techniques. Her work draws from an intersection of nature and her own bold expression of it.
"My art is centered on exploring natural form, embracing color, and working intuitively. I begin with a loose thought (floral, landscape, color, pattern, shape) then move through the composition with an internal desire to free myself from laboring and instead lose myself completely to the process. I believe we all are creative and through art we can learn how to overcome the fear of comparison, the unknown, and those hard expectations we impose on ourselves. My work is for the viewer to experience, contemplate and enjoy."
