Two 30” x 36,” and a pack of six 11” x 14” canvases
Keep in mind, you may need more canvases depending on how you work.
Acrylic Paint- I highly recommend using Golden acrylic paints. This brand has a high pigment load, and a diverse array of colors to choose from; they also have iridescent and interference colors, which can really enhance a piece. The Golden brand has heavy body, fluid, and high flow paints. You can either purchase heavy body or fluid. Bring paints that you already have for the first class. In our first class, I will go over color choice and why specific colors are so important, so wait until that first class meeting to have a further understanding to expand your palette. After that first class, then you can purchase other paints. You may also use other brands, like Amsterdam, Holbein, Winsor & Newton, Grumbacher, and many more (this is not an extensive list, just suggestions).
Paint brushes- I recommend a variety: angular, round tip, flat
