Photorealistic Drawing

Adult Classes | Available

Learn how to create original photorealistic illustrations in pencil. Students will learn to acutely observe subjects, and recreate them in as realistic a fashion as possible, employing a number of techniques. Observation will be the key to great drawings in this class. Students will learn refined pencil drawing techniques to create realistic drawings of whatever subject matter they choose. Each student will be expected to spend the time working on his or her own illustrations, and creating the most realistic drawings possible! The classroom setting will be light, focusing mainly on getting the most of each student’s individual abilities and talents.

  • Students will frequently be working from photos, and will be expected to supply their own reference in these cases. In addition, students are encouraged to bring in any other materials they wish to use as reference or inspiration.
