By the end of the session, each student will have at least 1 completed project and learned the skills and techniques to design and produce bigger and more advanced pieces. Instruction is delivered on an individual basis, so students of all artistic levels are welcome.

Students are encouraged to bring items such as pins, broaches, costume jewelry, sentimental charms, small figurines, saucers, etc., as these items can create additional interest and become your personal signature for the mosaic art you create.
Rose Marie Beauchemin
Rose Marie Verzella has been immersed in the arts from a very young age. She began with a career in the beauty industry, winning her first competition at just 16. Rose Marie opened her first salon at 19 and began to train extensively in color and color theory as well as facial morphology. These skills led her into an enormously successful 30 years of teaching medical and cosmetic tattooing at the renowned Beau Institute of Permanent and Corrective Cosmetics, which she founded. Many of those 30 years were spent traveling the globe, teaching at major cancer institutions, as a feature at international conferences, and training plastic and reconstructive surgeons and their staff to perform the most realistic, 3-Dimensional Areola Tattooing, post mastectomy. Rose Marie recently retired from Beau Institute and resumed her other passions, art and mosaics. She believes, “Regardless of the medium we choose to bestow our creativity upon; it tends to feed our souls. Time stops, and continues to escape us completely, once we commit to a project, any project. I believe there is no healthier escape from the chaos we simply call, life, than to dive into the fun and freedom of mosaics!”
