Elemental 3D Collage

In this workshop, students will use choose from one of the provided love poems to create a 3D collage on a wood base. Bring your imagination and creativity to use, reuse, recycle and transform small objects to create your collage composition. An assortment of items such as pieces of costume jewelry, stones, shells, crystals, beads, pinecones, small branches, keys, and so much more will be provided to help personalize each student’s artistic vision.
- Please consider bringing a bagged lunch from home for the mid-day break. Students may also go to nearby 5th Ave to pick up food from a cafe.
- All supplies included, but feel free to bring anything that you may want to include in your collage.

My professional life, up to 5 years ago, was centered around health care and higher education. The exploration of diverse creative activities helped me detach from the noise, the demand of my often-chaotic professional world, and focus back on myself as a sort of meditative process. I create for the experience, the unconscious inspiration. I approach the creative process as an ongoing positive transformation, not only of the material I use, but also of my mind, my resilience, my relation to other, and to some extent even my health.
