Abstract Painting: Pollock’s Techniques
Adult Classes | Available
This class focuses on Jackson Pollock’s painting techniques, so explore the joy and exhilaration of flinging, dripping, and pouring paint onto the canvas to create a unique piece. Discover this freeing experience of abstract expression that takes painting to a whole other level. This act of painting is one where your body is also in motion, so it’s NOT a sit-down experience, but one that requires your body to move. I provide demos, inspiration, and active involvement in my student’s expression while offering guidance and direction.
For the first class, bring one large canvas, and everything else listed below.
You can purchase either one of these sizes of canvas: 18” x 26” or 24” x 36”, and a pack of 11” x 14” canvases.
Keep in mind, you may need more canvases depending on how you work.
Acrylic Paint
I strongly recommend that you purchase white. Other colors are your choice, but begin by choosing a three to four colors you like other than white. After the first class, you may want to purchase other colors.
