Bucket Pour Painting
Adult Classes | Available
Learn the bucket pour method of painting and how to manipulate it to create distinct designs. You need to have some muscle to pour the contents of the bucket over the canvas, so it requires strength, and a steady hand. Demonstrations will be provided on how to hold the bucket and move it around the canvas to create your designs. You do not need prior pour experience, but it is helpful if you do.
$100 fee payable to the instructor at the first class for specialty materials
For the first class, please bring one canvas and all other materials listed below.
Keep in mind, you may need more canvases depending on how you work. We work on larger sized canvases: 20” x 20” or 24” x 24”. I would purchase at least 5-6 cradled wood canvases at Michael’s online. All supplies can be purchased online at Michael’s, Jerry’s Artarama, Dick Blick, etc.
For the first class, purchase a few colors and white. I recommend purchasing Golden Fluid (color is your choice), Master’s Touch (color is your choice), and Amsterdam (color is your choice), and white (brand is your choice). After the first class, you can decide on other colors or brands you might want to use. Other brands suggested are M. Graham, and NOVA.

You can purchase these items at: Michaels, Jerry’s Artarama (online), Dick Blick (online), Jackson’s (online), Holbein Artist Materials (online), and many other retailers
