Abstract Painting: Vibrational Energy of Music

Workshops | Available

This workshop is an introduction to listening to the vibrational energy of sounds, and how to interpret those sounds into colors, shapes and textures. Demonstrations will show how painting taps into the vibrational energy of music. We’ll discuss how these different sounds affect us emotionally and how we interpret them into our abstract painting. This is really an eye-opening experience that crosses art and sound.

  • Please be dressed appropriately with an apron.

Everyone will take their pieces home at the end of the workshop, so be sure you have space in your vehicle considering the paint will also be wet.

  • 18” x 24” or 20” x 20” canvas and one 11” x 14” canvas

An array of paint colors, including white; Golden fluid paints are quick drying; but you can purchase any acrylic paint you’d like; heavy body paints will provide more texture.
