This course offers a rigorous introduction to portrait drawing based on the principles of the Russian academic tradition. Students will learn to construct the human head with accuracy and depth through a structured approach emphasizing proportion, anatomy, and tonal development. Suitable for beginners with dedication, as well as intermediate artists seeking to refine their technical skills, this course provides a strong foundation for anyone interested in classical realism and academic drawing practices.
