Chaddock, Anne

I have lived and painted in Richmond, Virginia all of my life and was educated at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with a major in Art Education. I studied Fine Art under Theresa Pollack, and have been teaching fine art for over 50 years. As the owner of For Arts Sake Gallery & Studios I taught 120 students per week. My mediums include watercolor, oil, acrylic and pastel. In January 2012 I decided it was time to paint "For the Sake of Art". I sold "For Arts Sake" and said farewell to some amazing artists I taught over the years. After visiting the Naples area over the last 19 years I decided this would become home. "This has been a new and wonderful experience with a great art community that I am so lucky to be a part of.'' I conduct workshops in the United States as well as Ireland, France, Italy and Greece. As a member of many art associations, I compete locally and nationally and participate in National Art Festivals annually. After 9 years here, I am now a mainstay for Advanced Art Instruction in Naples. To see more of my work and history, please log onto: www.annechaddock.com
