Learn to paint abstractly using colors, shapes, thickness of paint, and other materials to build depth, layering and design. Expand your creativity and skill set as you explore new techniques to create unique and vibrant pieces. Wear comfortable shoes, clothing, and an apron and be prepared to get messy!

  • Canvas sizes: 11” x 14”, 10” x 20”, 20” x 20”, 18” x 24”
  • Acrylic paints: white, primary yellow, primary red, primary blue and other colors if you choose
  • Palette
  • Palette knives (one or two of your choice)
  • Thickening gel
  • Plastic cup or container for water
  • Palmolive soap
  • Paper towels or cloth for wiping and cleaning brushes
  • Latex gloves (optional)
  • Brushes: round, flat, angular, fan
  • Tissue paper
  • Old cloths you plan on discarding
