A class geared for any child who loves to draw, paint and use a variety of materials. Each week's projects will explore different art themes, creating animals, landscapes, collage and abstract, still life, and drawing. We’ll use pastel, paints, tactile supplies and pencil as we learn fine art elements such as line composition, shading techniques, texture, and perspective.

  • Please bring a snack & drink for the mid-class break.

Dunn, Kathy

Artist Kathryn Dunn is a professional artist with a B.F.A. and a Masters degree in secondary art education, studied at the University of Massachusetts and at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She specializes in acrylic, oil , pastel and mixed media with her field of concentration in figural study, collage, portrait and landscape. Kathryn is a highly versatile artist and an accomplished muralist as well. She is known for her powerfully executed imagery and dynamic color usage. Her work can be viewed in several restaurants, private residences and businesses throughout the Boston area .
