Discover the processes used to create functional forms with hand building. Step by step instruction using slabs, coils, extruder, and sculptural enhancements, will get you started with comfort. Learning the methods of construction as well as a variety of surface decoration processes for embellishment, will delight you. Mary will teach the true beginner or brainstorm with experienced potters. As you enjoy the tactile qualities of clay, your projects will be fired with food safe glazes. Imagine creating your favorite mug, a serving bowl or the perfect gift. You will be amazed at what you can do!

Campbell, Kelly

Kelly Campbell has been interested in the creative process for as long as she can remember.  Throughout her career in the arts, she has become proficient in many materials. While at FGCU she became engulfed in the ceramic field and has been voraciously studying and teaching since. Kelly loves all aspects of the medium from hand building to wheel throwing, surface design and glazing there is something for everyone to learn and  enjoy.
