Marcus, Robin

I am from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I was fortunate to teach my passion for 28 years since I had always wanted to be an Art Educator. I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Art in Art Education and received a Masters in Education and Interdisciplinary Studies at National Louis University in Illinois. My major at Illinois State was Metals with a Painting minor. During my teaching experiences I helped create my district Art Crawl which every child displayed art work in Antioch Illinois where I last taught for 12 years. I was also nominated for Elementary Art Teacher of the year as well as the Fulbright Memorial Scholarship recipient to Japan. Besides teaching I enjoy being with my husband and my three grown children. I am also an avid tennis player and spinner. Bonita Springs has been my second home now for 11 1/2 years and has brought me such new opportunities to learn and grow with my passions. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work at Naples Art.
