This 4-week course is designed to help you begin to write your autobiography. You will be guided through the process of reflecting on your life, organizing your memories, and writing a compelling account of your life. By the end you will have the tools and confidence to begin to write your autobiography that will capture your life experiences, for either publication or as a personal legacy for your loved one.

  • Define your purpose for writing your autobiography.
  • Select important themes to explore.
  • Approach to writing your autobiography.
  • Understanding the importance of journaling and writing down your self-reflections.
  • Develop important techniques and storytelling skills.
  • Structure your autobiography.
  • Explore ethical considerations in writing about your personal experiences.
  • Balance your reflections with privacy.
  • Create a draft of your autobiography.
  • Receive feedback and guidance from peers and your instructor Merridy Kotler-Robinson.

    About your instructor:  Merridy Kotler- Robinson has degrees in Art Education, is a published author and is currently living in Aventura.
