An attractive working-class single mother in the North of France naively falls under the influence of a far-right movement. When she agrees to run for mayor, seizing control of the minds of the electorate, with polarizing consequences.
Thursday, November 14: CHESS STORY – Austria/Germany – 2021 -110 min.
1938. While the Nazi troops march into Vienna, the notary Josef Bartok hastily tries to escape to the USA with his wife but is arrested by the Gestapo. Thrown into solitary confinement, Bartok is psychologically tormented for months but he steals an old book about chess, and begins a mental game to outwit his captors.
Thursday, November 21: LABYRINTH OF LIES - 2014 - Germany - 106 min.
The year is 1958. The war has been over for thirteen years and the Federal Republic of Germany is not only recovering but even booming. But where are the Nazis? Who has ever heard of the death camps? It looks like all has been forgotten or ignored - At least, until a young prosecutor, decides to investigate the case of man accused of being a murderous guard at Aushwitz - Nobody knows it, but this is the dawn of a new era. Even if the road to awareness will be long and rocky.

Three retired best friends conspire to leave Rome to find a better standard of living in a country where their meager pensions will stretch much further.
