Join us for a truly unique theater experience with Fiddler on the Roof at the Arsht Theater. Known for his visionary storytelling, Artistic Director Stuart Meltzer brings a fresh, intimate perspective to this timeless classic, deepening its powerful themes of family, faith, and resilience. The musical, crafted by legends Jerome Robbins, Harold Prince, Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick, and Joseph Stein, transports audiences to the village of Anatevka, where Tevye, a humble milkman, faces the tension between tradition and progress amidst the anti-Semitic backdrop of Czarist Russia. With unforgettable songs like "Sunrise, Sunset," "If I Were a Rich Man," and "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," this rendition of Fiddler will resonate with audiences of all backgrounds.

John Dalton

John Dalton has worked in theater, film, and television since 1985. He has lived and worked in each of the major hubs for this industry: New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. He has been an actor, model, producer, stage manager, casting director, and part of many backstage crews, and he brings these experiences from Prime Time TV, film, and theater to the class. He now resides in South Florida and teaches on the theory of theater.
