Alan Mason

Dr. Alan Mason is graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where he was awarded Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees, and the University of Miami, where he was awarded the Doctor of Musical Arts degree. Additionally, Alan did post-doctoral studies at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Alan had a long academic career, teaching on several college campuses from 1982, until his retirement from Barry University in 2014, where he was Associate Professor of Music, 1996-2014. Alan is the conductor of HaZamir Miami a chapter of HaZamir: The International Jewish Teen Choir.
