Cinema Series with Shelly Isaacs

NOTE: This series includes four (4) live, virtual post-discussions for the term. If you will not be able to attend all discussions, we send the video recording of the
session, so you don't miss the conversation!

This course will take place on 4 THURSDAYS: October 23, 30, November 6 and 13.

THEME: BREAKING CINEMATIC BORDERS

Four films that move  beyond localized narratives to present a global, multi-faceted tapestry of human resilience, challenging us to look past our own geographical and cultural frames. Ultimately, the films are united by a common willingness to tackle challenging, cross-border social themes, thereby expanding the scope and empathy of world cinema.
